I learned the hard way that the 1261 doesn't fit the 1960-64 distributor with the "D" style shaft. Part number for this type shaft is 1266.

David- I have 65 chrome metal Mustang knobs. The wiper knob uses a set screw...the headlight knob comes with the stem made on the knob

Why not run stock parts? I have a 17.5" seven blade fan from a 75 Maverick 250 that came with factory AC and PS. The fan shroud is from a '76....
I couldn't get the Taurus fan between the radiator and water pump on my 250. Jammie did on his 200. The 250 water pump is longer than a 200...
My rollers were still useable so I didn't replace them. Here's a pic of the original roller and it looks like the replacement roller to me. [ATTACH]

I'm no expert on this subject but I do see D4DZ 10A682-A listed as "SHIELD (BATTERY HEAT)" in the 73-79 Ford Master Parts catalog for the 74-77...
I seen about 3 or 4 in Florida at a car show and heard about them in Hawaii.Gotta question to you...Could a person buy a new Maverick with heater...
