Same stuff...Stick with rubber bushings on the strut rods,you'll be just fine.
The heim joint creates a point where the bar can move. Thus relieving the stress/bind that you get with the original and poly bushings.
Dont use poly bushings on the strut rods...Too rigid, they cause the rods to snap right where the threads end on them.
Sodium Hydroxide is the active/nasty ingredient that removes the hard anodizing...Eastwood sells a product that will remove anodizing without...
Dont clear the stuff...As you noted, it wont stick for long. There are several products on the market for protecting polished aluminum and such....

Nice job sorting out the bump steer and the arm mods...Yeah those vented LS1's are lighter than normal but...They go through alot of oil...
