One needs to rotate the handle in order to get the "ball" out of the rod. Why mess with a used cable.....new repops are readily available.

Yes......just say NO to rust. In my opinion, way too easy to find rust free Mavericks/Comets out there. They cost more, but they are worth it....
I remember seeing the car on eBay this week. Since you are new to Mavericks, I can let you know this: 1. The car originally had a vinyl top....
Once you get that far into the door, it is super easy to remove the glass and just get it out of your way.
Door panels are available NEW from several sources. Look on eBay for them. The ones from the country of Brazil get high marks from many on here.

Can't see the number on the pitman arm itself, but the number on the pitman arm should be: DODA-3590-A That is the wrong number for a Maverick...
