Yes....there is a relay for sport lamps. 1972 for sure. Maybe 1971 as well. It is located behind the drivers front kick panel.
You will need a factory schematic to see where the lines go. Under the hood the vacuum lines go to the heater valve and the vacuum canister.
Like I stated....not a hood light wire. A factory hood light wire would attached directly to the battery and was powered by a mercury switch in...

As stated....AC vacuum hoses. Nothing to do with the hood light.
Since the factory never made such a piece......I doubt the aftermarket will.

Maverick/Granada disc brakes will stop the car just fine. I think you have other issues, like the master cylinder, as stated.
