In my rearend business,a lot of rears go 100k before having any bearing trouble (non-synthetic lube) I've had to do quite a few 50-70 mi. rears...

Ok,you got me curious,I just walked out to the shop and dug out my bell,it's aluminum,it's for 157,and the part # is C80A-6394-A,it's had a 3sp...
All the 157 bells I"ve had were aluminun,but then you know Ford ,there's always one year that the do it different!
The 157 tooth bell came mostly on pre '65 T-10 Falcons and 289s,very seldom will you see a 157 on a Top Loader 4sp,(from the factory)I have found...
Had original arms,just got a set of 14" Anco metal that adapt to the stock arms,scuffed with "scotty pad" and painted argent,just did them...
