It's great to ask questions. It's half of learning.
I know what I have in front of me. The fact of the matter is, A TIMING COVER FOR A 1972 MAVERICK needs to be used. Are there any objections to...
The 5.0 H.O. Mustang & the Crown Vics have the same timing cover. The water pump itself is the difference. I have a 5.0 Mustang cover, a 5.0...
Mean_Maverick can hook you up! He sold me some good parts the other day.
I checked my '93 Bronco & it has the totally different kind like the one in that guy's photobucket.
No, remember the other night when I went to my shop & checked both covers? Then the other guy sent you a photo. I told you the Mustang 5.0 cover...

Back in the day, they put 390s in Mavericks all the time. They practically bolt right in. A Cleveland will go right in the hole, too....
I agree 100%. I have big valves in mine w/ stock length pushrods, rollers, etc. No problems... ever.
Yes, it sounds like the throwout bearing is the problem, but it's hard to say.
I just popped the hood on my '93 Bronco & you can definitely see the difference on it. I still think you should get one specific to the year of...
I just went & double-checked 2 covers. One came off my '72 Grabber & the other off a customer's '91 Mustang. They actually appear to mount the...
