There is a small plate that goes around the starter. Unsure on the trans. I just fill mine up with type F till it reads full when hot.

Well sorted out some issues. I turned the H.P. screw in a few turn to save on tire wear.
SERE, if all you did was change gaskets, torque the rockers down and move on. The noise could be a lot of things. Make sure your timing is set...

What year are the heads? If they have the rail rockers for that year car, the studs should be threaded down to a ledge. Those are not adjustible....
You can use any 5.0. You will need the timing cover off of your current 302 so u can use a mech fuel pump. I believe the newer 302s use a reverse...
It isn't adjustible. Torque the rockers to 18 ftlbs.
