Good call! This is how most of the grease points are on our heavy equipment.
My 351w has a 157 tooth flex and I'm using the original 302 starter with no issues. I've also used the starter that was on the 351 with no issues.

My 72 would lose reverse when warm. I cleaned out the VB, put in a shift kit, and adjusted the band. It worked perfect after that.

Yes... Pull the vacuum line off the modulator and see if it has tranny fluid in the line.
Um.. I think there is a pin holding it in.
