didnt know low compression would do that. interesting.. gonna try the thermostat first tho.. hoping thatll be it.... traded on a pinto??? ouch...
the running part is the carbueretor... got it running but gonna need a new carb. as for the heat.... only thing left i havent replaced is...
i have a new heater core in it now.. still only lukewarm air.. i guess only thing left to try is replacing thermostat with higher temp one. thats...

ok.. was fooling round with the heater at work today... vacuum is ok. far as i can tell. need to replace the one vac line that goes from manifold...
thanx for the tip.. i did check the cable already tho.. works jsut fine.. not slipped off.. didnt know there was a door. will have to check that...
good point... but seeing hows my car will probably never need all that. (one can dream that it will)...i still like my idea
i had the exact same problem when i but new shoes on my car before i drove it to georgia from texas.. took me four hours to figure out the wheel...
