if the O ring is leaking you will have to pull the sending unit to replace it. you then can do any repairs to the unit while it's out...JMO
took Patches out for a:drive:... :chirp:today. he sure loves this cooler air.

that should be an easy one to straighten out. if it was bent right at the end of the outer cable it would be more difficult.
I also if automatic on column pull the shift lever down into low (first gear).
are you saying they are putting in ... "the supplied rubber window gasket"? if so where did you get the rear window gasket?
do a 5.0 roller motor swap, more bang for the buck...JMO
that with an oil drip tube makes the wood last longer and get rid of used oil...win/win.
try not to over tighten the screws when reinstalling the cluster, old plastic can't take it.
did you get the dash pad? if not yet you will also need the funky little bolts that mount it.
I have ran 275x60x15 on 8" rims in the rear on mine once with no rubbing.
