Concaving the back wouldn't be to hard if you made a block to rest the piece in face down and used a ball point deburring bit in a drill press...

Finally got around to mounting the emblem on to the cas cap. Im glad i didnt drill through the emblem.

You can take a little L shaped flat screwdiver and release the little tab under the heater knobs. then they slid right off.
