yes my 72 73 and 74 all had that black stuff, it helps keep the water out
i just eliminated it and welded the whole up, and put the windsheild squirters inside the cowl today
well maybe ill come up with more strange things to ask about... glad to see this was such a big hit haaa. so keep copper plate/square/thingy or...
well i said it was a square but plate sounds more profesional
use some of that black sticky crap when you put it back in it helps

well steele rubber for the front windsheild is $120 and autokrafters is only $80
found a deal on front and rear weather striping and the piece for the cowl and hood and the trunck.... which is better steele rubber or auto krafters?
