Apparently you're not supposed to use certain intake gaskets with edelbrock aluminum intakes. More specifically the gaskets that I have haha....

Ah! Good Point! I never put my brass float back on, so my gauge doesn't work at all :dance: Definitely pumps the gas tho..
The brass float could've fallen off of ur sending unit.. They are about 6 bucks from a parts place :2thumbs:

I re-used my sender on my 71. Not sure if the 74 is the same, but I'm sure someone will chime in. Or The part numbers might match if you can find...
