I had the 79 chassis as well. I wanted the coil spring front.
My son and I put a 63 F100 on a 79 4X4 chassis. Made a very nice truck. Build on!

We used the Hooker set: EFI with T-5 cable clutch. The cable runs close and needs to be anchored away from the tubes.
