Thats what I did on my 69 1/2...worked out good
The hood on my 69 1/2 was from a 76 with a 250. I'll check today and see if the sticker is on it.
I got that much just for the power booster and pedal assy from mine:thumbsup:
You can use the cougar lever. Just need to drop the pan and valve body out.

The rearend will fit if you slot the bolt holes in the mustang plates and use the maverick u bolts. Really no advantage as they are both 8 in...
If he has an early falcon it would be shimmed on the UPPER control arm.

They will bolt up but the 67 4 piston calipers are a pain to keep sealed. 1968 and later are all single piston and work better in my opinion.
The upper and lower arms are different on a 65 mustang vs maverick. Steering boxes totally differnet also. Which way are you wanting to go?...
Take them to your local tire store when they are closed. leave them in the parking lot......they'll take care of them for ya...lol
Do you have stock clutch linkage or a cable? Check your lh motor mount?

If you don't use a prop valve your rear brakes can lock up to soon. The valve limits the fluid flow to the rear. You can get an adjustable one...

Rail rockers started in 67 on the std 289 until mid 69 302s and were FULLY ADJUSTABLE. Fords "change L4" brought us non adjustable valvetrains...
If you use the 68 heads you will also need the 68 pushrods. The 74 ones are longer and will snap the rocker studs. Been there..done that. Steve
