There may be rust on the bottom that settled, but I would think the rust would be above the fuel level where the moisture (in the air) would be....

Added the Spoiler... guess I need to paint the bumper Silver now too... :) Replaced all the steering components today as my previous post showed....
Carb is an Edelbrock, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. Not sure on the heads, only had it 7 months... just replaced all the steering components today.

Is there a difference in tie-rod adjusters between 69.5-72 and 73?
I have a Hurst Proshifter II. Tranny will not shift very often into 1st gear via the shifter. If I leave it in 'drive' it will always shift down...
My '72 I had in the late 70s I do not recall having woodgrain. (shrug). I'm old though.... :)
