Looks like the inner valve was too long, not letting the booster valve seat. Once I ground some metal off the shaft...boom!...when in fine....

Bill, The standard valve body has 8 bolt holes and the "pinto" valve body has 9 so I had one extra bolt when I put the standard VB in.
