    Thanks for the info! I did find a similar spring and I know I've seen that H shaped ratchet pawl in some box. Now to find it!

    So far, I've spent probably 50 hours on a custom wiring job. But, it finally started and ran as expected today. I could have saved 10-15 hours...

    Above is the right fix, but an option is to just catch a wire downstream of the Black/Orange ignition power wire, but the Tach lights would be on...
