Got a little more done this morning..... The heads are torqued on, and the grounds all hooked up on the back of the heads(so I don't forget them...
I managed to assemble and clean them up this morning without incident….. I cleaned all surfaces on the heads and block..... Install the head...
OK, I have been a little lazy both working on it and updating..... Last Saturday I cleaned up the bowl area on the 799's I got..... I didn't see...

Here's a little update..... The block and everything in the car is all cleaned up and ready for reassembly..... I put some new comp short travel...
Yeah. nothing was that bad..... Probably because it wasn't lean or detonating..... Just pushed a gasket out from under the head.....

Got the converter changed yesterday and the rear end cover removed.....
Finished the wiring in the trunk and tested everything Saturday..... All worked fine except I had a little trouble with the water/meth level...
Only got about 3/4 of the wiring done on Sunday..... Guess there's always next weekend, and the one after that, and the one after that.....:banghead:
