I know guys with 100,000+ miles on there 347 and they don't burn oil and they run great........
A quality 347 that is setup properly will handle 450 hp for a long, long time.... Here's the only picture I can find right now........

Come on guys....i'm running a 15x10" rim with 28 x10" tire (actual measurement) on them......that is HUGE on a stock wheel well, stock location...
