I am currently re-doing my floor pans after having them botched up about 3 yrs ago by a local chevy guy, he just used plain sheetmetal and didn't...
Here is my email to MT: Hello, I race in a local \"street car\" class that has tire restrictions. I\'ve been running et streets and et drags...
I"ve got an email into Mickey Thompson, I figured since they know more about tires than anyone here they can settle this. My argument is that...
We'll just agree to disagree.......have a nice day.
Looks good Dave, I think the long studs and open ended lug nuts would be a great investment for you!! Don't want to do the 3-wheel dance like...
OK, now if we can just convince the Outlaw 10.5 guys of what you're saying, they will break records and be going even faster......:rofl2: :coco:
I don't doubt it, a stiffer sidewall can/will improve 60' times if the car isn't overpowering the tire. You're also right in saying that the drag...
I've run et drags and et streets with success, the et street seems to have a slightly stiffer sidewall as compared to the et drag. My best 60' of...

I ran 4.62's for years on the street, then I switched to the 9" with 4.56's. Then I switched to 4.00 gears last year, I didn't notice any...

VERY COOL !!!! Katie looks right at home in a Maverick!!
I've driven a spool on the street for years with no problems, just stay out of the rain and don't be doing anything stupid in the curves, you'll...
The 4-leafs from Maverick Connection sent the rear of my car to the moon......I just pulled the second shortest leaf out and it settled it down.....

What makes you think you need performance leaf springs?? What do you want to do with the car? Will you be racing the car?? Drag or road course??...
They only overhang enough to get the u-bolt holes through them. I'm running cal tracs with a 28x10" slick, stock spring location.
That's awesome Rick, i'm glad Katie is excited about driving a Mav/Comet!!! I know what you guys mean about being hard on them, let's just say...
Man, that's harsh....I better not let Jenny see this.......:D
