Your #14 post lists the valve lash settings.
That should be good to 6300-6500, Keep tuning it. Cam timing may be advanced too much.
The older cams were designed to work within the limitations of the factory heads. Either the camshaft is a mild grind or the ignition/ fuel curves...
Just means you have some tuning to do, don't let it discourage you.
