I don't think the floor shift was available until the V8 was an option, but not 100% sure.
Jim, if you are still looking for pedals I am swapping out the manual pedals in my sons car as he decided to go with an automatic trans.
Was the #8 valve still locked into the valve spring or were the keepers dislodged? A dropped valve could have been the beginning of the train...
The 3550 output shaft is same as SB Toploader. The TKO has a larger diameter shaft.
The ignition timing may have been really early and caused a shock in the rotating assembly strong enough to break the pin.
The TKO is quite a bit stronger than the T5. It's based on the Ford Toploader design.
That's a sweet deal.

Rock Auto will give you 3 or 4 brands and quality levels to choose from.
They will fit.
The 2.5 oval magna flows will fit under the car better. I ran them on my big block 62 F100 and they were plenty loud.
Another possibility if you are running a mechanical fuel pump is a weak or broken diaphragm spring.
The C4 and Toploader should use the same crossmember.
I would guess your losing the lobe.
My sons car will be running by next weekend but it's a far cry from a show car.
Nope, they are different.
