    Inside the edge of the case there is a groove. I think that's where the o ring seats.

    That is for the front. The rear bumper on a 73 is dimensionally the same as 70-72, the brackets on the 73 push the bumper out another inch or so...

    That is a Brazilian Maverick. As far as I know those wheels were not available in the US.
