Is there an advantage to using 5/16" brake line over 1/4"? Like maybe an easier pedal to push, or more travel of the slave cylinder?

Those are OE Valve covers from the 87-93 Mustangs with the 5.0, I sanded them as smooth as I could and primed them, then re sanded with 400 grit...
