Is there a hole in those tabs? My autometer had a slot for the hose clap to go thru...
I have the autometer version at 9 o clock, and its very easy to see... I rotated the gauge so when I need to shift the pointer will be pointing...
well we do know its aluminum.... ;) and I personally think some of those big 3 radiators with those dumb plastic tanks are far worse.....
so what your are saying is that heavier, more expensive is better :rolleyes: and its not a different ball game... new cars demand more from their...
if brass and copper was a better choice for a radiator, we would still see it in cars today.....just saying

probably same thing that will happen to all the major manufactures radiators/parts that are made over seas... will still be there
I didn't have an issue with my radiator hose when I did mine, I got 3 row with electric fan though... my drain on the radiator is usable as well...

I love the shelby cobra as much as any one of you but to me its not a muscle car... if it is then original gt40 is also.... to me an ultimate...

I actually do not consider the shelby cobra a muscle car... its a sports car to me. To me a muscle car is a over powered car that can only go...
those are very nice cars, one of my fav fords of that time period along with galaxies/fairlanes

Last year I had a summit brand 3 core aluminum radiator... I couldn't cruise during Woodward cause my car would creep past 200 degrees... this...
they do have direct fit and i believe they are soldered/welded
