Good to know they are the right mirror! To add to the riv-nut discussion, I ordered a bag of yellow zinc chromate steel ones - much tougher than the aluminum ones.
I understand the steel ones are a lot tougher to put in, so if you have those, I would suggest the specialized rivet gun. You have to crank pretty hard on these aluminum ones if you are doing it manually.
Well mine are both in fact D0DB after I pulled them off and checked them. The right one has the factory gasket...the left one has the homemade one from an old floormat. Guess I better start hunting a left side gasket. :16suspect
From what I have seen, they are a little more flexible than the original ones, but I see no reason whay they would not work.
Thanks again everyone I mounted the mirrors today They Look Great & Predfan I used AK gaskets the only problem was with the cables I had to remove a little of the gasket from under the mirror. But other than that They worked Great. & Yes Craig they are much more flexible then the originals. I'll take pictures tomorrow.
Could you tell me what size hole is used for the cables? I'm adding sport mirrors to my doors and both are adjustable so I need to drill holes. Thanks :Handshake
