    Yes

Set yourself up with a fuel cell with a sending unit in it.
Other choices will improve streetabilty, such as suspension design, shock type, heim joint construction type, and size and type of tires.

Yep, always had to open the trunk to put gas in our Comet. Not really that big of a deal. Just gotta be careful not to drip any in the trunk, 'cuz it will stink the whole interior of the car up if you do. That is, if you consider gas stinky. :)

If you have a backhalfed "street" car and any sort of motor in it...you won't need those subs and amps. The motor will make all the music you want.

i presume youll be taking out the back seat for this mod? if so, just mount your amps and speakers there.like jamie said, be careful fueling but a couple drops wont kill you. my highboy has the in cab tank and sometimes on a hot day it will get stinky in the cab. just roll the window down and go faster:evilsmile

I've seen cars with tubs and fuel cells that used the stock filler location, don't see why it wouldn't work on a Maverick. The fuel cell would have to mount low between the frame rails, sort of like a NASCAR car....

Yes, the cell will hang well down towards the ground to use the original fill tube. Back halfing the Mav with four link or ladder bars and tubs, is not a quick and easy job. Just talking from experience, will take a minimum of two weeks, depending on time put in each day or night, to get it perfect(cutting the floor up to the door jam's, and lot's of precise measuring before welding in the new rails etc.) and where the car will track staight and not get wild on full accelleration. Then there is the question of roll cage to tie the whole thing together for strength and such. Are you going to use one of these set-up's? I may be misunderstanding your exact intention's. Leaf springs are no more unless you plan to move them inward somehow. Large, wide tires need lot's of wheel backspacing to keep them tucked in the fender well's, leaf's will be in the way if you don't move them in. Mini tubbing it for a 10.5 or 11 in tire might work too, if the leaf's can be moved also, still lot's of work. Coil over shocks will be the best way to go in my opinion. You can try putting one of the smaller cells in the front where the battery used to be(had to move it to the rear), that should really blow their mind's when you raise the hood to fill-er up.
