Hi I have a 1976 Maverick with a 200 inline 6 cylinder. I want to put a 302 v8 in. What parts on the car IE mounts ect. have to be changed? The car is a 3 speed automatic and the transmission will be up graded too.
Thanks in advance for any info.

You'll need to plan exhaust mods whether you go dual or single, also need motor and chassis mounts, all the pulleys/brackets, wiring harness for v8(assuming they are not with engine)... If engine is late model 5.0 roller cam, toss in a oil pan, pickup, and steel geared dist... Additionally things like throttle linkage, a V8 radiator, correct flexplate/flywheel for your upgraded transmission in addition to torque converter, bell housing etc etc...

There are several good threads listing needs, good luck on finding them though...

I see your point about good luck finding the threads. Seems the only threads I can find are threads referencing good threads. If anyone has a link to one or several it would be appreciated. what I really need to know is what chassis parts will I need. And possibly where to get them,
