Well I just won a 75 Mav Grabber off of ebay now I can earn my name on this forum once again, a 75 Grabber was my first car and it looked much like this one, ebay item 300158556282, still dont know how to post from other sites to forum
That be the one, gotta love those Mavrick Mustangs, SoupBone you let one slip through the cracks. It will be big bumpers for awhile, gotta have something to set your beer on
Yeah I cant count how many rust free cars I have looked at and they meant that you didnt have to pay for the rust, this is one car that I did not go checkout first, but I expect it will need some work but very good foundation to start with. Now I just gotta figure out how to get money to someone that is 200 miles away in 3 days, sheesh.
Just be very careful. He has zero feedback and that would be a red flag for me but it may also just mean that he just created an account to sell this car. Protect yourself and make sure you don't just send him cash. Make sure it's something that can be documented just in case.
I know you're an experienced eBayer, but I say be careful too. Zero feedback and requiring payment in full in three days would scare me. If I couldn't pay in person, I'd have a third party transact the deal so you can be sure of getting a clean title and the car, then pick it up from the third party later if necessary. Good luck. Hope the deal comes through for you. It definitely looks like you got a great deal on the rarest of all the Grabbers! And this one is SO well equipped... I'm definitely jealous!
I agree, I would be careful, the terms of the auction and 0 feedback do seem a little fishy. I definitely would want to be there in person and get the title in hand when the money exchanges hands. That said, looks like a great car, and a good deal. Will need a little work, can see rust in the front lip of the hood and what looks like may be rust on bottom inside lip of the passenger door in one pic. Appears as though the hood and passenger side fender may have been repainted at some point, they appear slightly lighter then the rest of the car. Definitely a great car though. Congrats!
man. i'd jump over to I-5 and head on up to lakewood. close to tacoma if i remember right. i'd have a friend go up and i'd pick it up. one thing that would make me feel a little bit better is he posted quite a few pictures.
