i put a set of world products windsor jr's on my 302 with hooker 6901's. problem is spark plug clearence. i can get all plugs in but can't get a socket on #8 to tighten it. anyone had this problem? how did you fix it? i was able to finaly get it tight but had to remove header to do so(what a pain). all wire boots end up real close to header tubes but do go on.

i have exact the same set up on my car, i ended up buying shorty plugs, special spark plug socket that goes over the plug from snap on, hammered on the header and bought ceramic tipped wires, other wise i would melt the plug wires within 300 miles, even with those heat boot covers.

With my headmans I had to run a ngk plug (shorter then average) and 90* boots

Are you using a ratchet on the socket? To tighten or loosen mine I use a socket that you can use an open end wrench on.:)

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
i have that set up. the heads are the sole problem not the headers. if tighten them with a pair very small channel locks... plugs IMO don't need to be that tight. i have them in a heat boot as well taylors seemed to work the best the sticky wrap ones are horrible! but either way overtime the plugs get burnt. always wanted to get the ceramic ones but thought they were too wide to get in there. i think jacobs has a set too.

its a pretty tight fit specially on number 8 cylinder, i had to whack the header couple times to get it to fit right, but once they are on they are great
