Hey all, well I'm stupid and painted my weatherstriping :( now I have alot of wind noise at higher speeds, I am taking a girl I want to impress on a road trip on sat (she won't be impressed if she cant hear anything but the wind) and was wondering if there is anything I can do to make the noise quieter? It's very thin paint and only here and there, could I take some sandpaper to the rubber and rough it up a bit or would that make it worse? Any suggestions are great. Thanks all.

I have taken a rag dampened with laquer thinner to remove paint from rubber weather stripping.

damn rudy that sucks, rent a car if you have to,

my wife refuses to ride in my mustang convertible because we have to shout to talk (literally) with the top UP to hear ourselves.

on the other hand, if you are not a big talker on dates, don't fix the weather stripping, bs the chick and tell her you have high performance racing windows in the car, and that is why it is loud

lol, high performance racing windows! I like that one! To bad I have the I6 200 not much performance to that one. I rubbed them down and the noise isn't to bad anymore, not good but not bad. Now what do I talk about? lol

Get a much older gf. They are more understanding because they have less options.
