I am almost ready to install my 5.0 H.O. in my 1971 Grabber. I have all of the HO accessories and would like to keep them. Will the HO powersteering pump work OK or will I have problems? I need to replace the steering box so, I could go with a manual box if I have to. I would prefer to keep the power steering though.

The pump will work if you can connect it. I'm pretty sure the fittings on the hoses are different, so unless you can find an adaptor or get a custom hose that will work, you'll have a big headache on your hands.

You will not have a problem with that pump. You will need to have a coustom hose made . Take both high pressure hoses to a hose repair shop ( hoses man ) . The fitting on the 5.0 pump ( pressure line ) have the shop marry it to the mav pressure line . You will not have a problem using that pump with the mav p/s that pump has been on my car for 4 years .

another good source and they seem to be all over is Parker, to make up new hoses with the right ends.

I used the same power steering hoses from my stock Mav with the HO pump. It works great. I think there is a small piece of metal tubing that screws into the back of the stock Mav pump (it was a factory 302 pump), bends 90 degrees or so, and then the hose screws to that piece. I simply unbolted this piece from my stock Mav pump and it bolted right up to my HO pump and attached the hose. Works great, no leaks, no custom hoses. This might be different depending on years, etc, but check it out, it may all fit together perfectly like mine did and save you a lot of time and hassle. Good luck.
