I THINK YOU SHOULD GO THE 302 AS EASE OF INSTALLATION is better than the 351M. I believe the 351M has a different bolt pattern on the bell housing, but maybe not. Also there are more performance parts available for the 302 if you are considering increasing the HP.JMO Ron:)

The 351M will DEFINATELY NOT FIT. Even if it would, it's a turd that wouldn't get out of it's own way when you nail the go pedal. The 351C will fit.

I would get the 302. A 351m uses different mounts has a different bell housing pattern and won't fit with the shock towers. A 351m is a smog era truck and heavy car motor

ratio411 HAD one in his back before aftermarket, he took it back out at some point (probabaly still before aftermarket) it will fit but spark plugs are a pain if you dont shave the towers or make some mods. also a lot of other things he had to do. i would pm him if you are serious about the cleveland.

BTW back on topic, 302 not the 351m any other 351 i would put in.

351m is a piece of trash. only thing its good for is adding weight to a car headed for the scrap yard. i pick the 302, no matter the year, and jus be lucky if its a roller. in fact the only 351 worth putting in a mav is a windsor.

;) You're too young to have experienced a Cleveland.................... But I'll let you in on a little secret..........the motors the Nascar guys are running today are basically Windsor blocks topped with Cleveland heads.:thumbs2:
