    I have a 1971 Maverick.

I am looking for a nice Aluminum radiator that is more or less a bolt in that looks nice and doesn't require me to drill new holes to mount it. I'm sure the BE-COOL would work but it's $550-ouch.

Are there any others out there? If not, what are some options?

    Thanks, Dan

You can have one custom made by ART'S radiator in Flemington,N.J.
He just done one for our sprint car.
Key the name in your search bar to get it to come right up, for contact info.
I believe it would be much less than 550.

Dan - try a search on "radiator" in the technical and main forum. Someone here recently just posted something about a universal fit radiator that worked. I can't remember who it was. If I find the link I will post it back here. $550 definately sounds steep. From what I have heard though, BE COOL products are a direct bolt in when you order them for a specific vehicle where some of the cheaper universal fit may require you to fabricate some spacers of have a mounting flange welded locally. I guess it depends on what you want the final product to look like and how comfortable yo are with a little light fabrication work.

Dan- it was in a thread here in the technical section called "Late Model Radiators in Mavericks/Comets" that was started by Rick Book and it was Maverick-Matt that said he had a Griffith.

I have an aluminum cross flow radiator, paid around $180. Only had to drill 2 holes in the upper radiator support to mount it.
