white lettering on tires

is it in or out now adays?

mine are blackened

 

I don't like it myself.

 

I like it, but it depends on the wording.

 

IMHO, anything that is "period correct" is fine with me. I regret removing the "cigar box" snorkel hood scoop that came on my car when I bought it.

I like them on my Comet. Of course they say "Cooper Cobra GT". Might have something to do with my name.....LOL

 

Maverick's do not conform to what is "IN"

I personally like them black in the front and white in the rear.

I vote black walls. JMO Unless Goodyear wants to pay me to advertise their tires.

 

I prefer Blackwalls,seems to make the tire look bigger and less clutter just my 2 cents

 

I prefer white letters out. Only problem is, most of the new vehicles have tires with such small sidewalls that there isn't even room for white letters, to be able to read them, they'd have to extend into the tread. I prefer the old style, 15" tires with white letters myself, instead of mostly shiny rim with micro sized black sidewalls, but I'm an old fart and I'm sticking with it.

I hate white letters. They are pointless and remind me of high school kid stuff...
