I just got my headers in the mail....I am going to put my 302 in soon. Is it easier to bolt the headers onto the engine first, wait for the engine to be installed to put them on, lay them in the engine compartment and bolt them up later, or what?
    Thanks!!

You can't put them on before the engine is in. They must go in from underneath. Motor must go in first. You have to have the car jacked up as far as you can get it. The passenger side can go up with the motor bolted in but the drivers side has to have the engine jacked up a few inches. you can then get a couple of bolts in and let it back down. :)

i put mine on the side and slowly drop the motor in

it is a pain in the a$$ to put the d side in if it's your first time doing it while the motors in

and if you have power steering you will need a power steering ram drop bracket

Yes, put them in at the same time but don't connect them to the engine until everything is in place.
