Hi all. Is there more than one year of grill that will fit my 1972 Maverick Sprint? Thanks in advance. Jack.

Actually all Maverick grills will fit. Their all the same. The Sprint originally came plane with no grill lights and the center medallion. Starting in 73, all Maverick grills had lights in them.

Hi all. Thanks Mavaholic for the reply. Now does that mean that all grills from 1970 to 1972 were plain with the medallion in the center? That would at least give me more to choose from to locate a grill. I have a 1973 or newer grill in there right now, as that is all my son-in-law could locate when he redid everything. Thanks again. Jack.

In 70, all grills had the center medallion. From 71 to 72, the standard grill was the medallion grill also. The Grabbers and LDO's had lights in the grill. From 73 to 77, all grills had lights in them.

I usually find a bunch of the standard grills at Ford Carlisle but that is not until end of May. Let me know if your still in need of one then.

Is it possible to put lights in a non light grille?

I know that sounds stupid, but do they have brackets made into the plastic or something? I havent really looked at my grille that much,
    So just curious

Andy, they're made totally different where the lights mount. Can't put lights in a non-light grille.
