    putting electric fuel pump on
    wheres the most common spot
    front or rear? rear frame/engine compartment?:huh:

    Electrics are "pushers" so mount it as low and as close to the fuel tank outlet as possible.

    Most of us mount them on the frame rails just by the tank.

    Do a search and you will find pictures of various mounting spots and ideas.

    What brand are you using? Most of them are pretty loud. A recent post mentioned one that was supposed to be quiet.:)

    If you isolate the mount and leave a little slack in the hose they can be very quiet.
    Always mount an electric at or near your lowest fuel level and as close to the tank as you can get it. Don't forget to run a ground wire to the isolated mount.
