Hello Im a mustang guy but I found a set of wheels. They are alum slots with what looks like a maverick emblem on the axle cover. I got them for my mustang but maybe they are factory maverick wheels. Or else they were just made in tx and have a longhorn on them. Couldnt find a good picture on the web so I thought you all would know about them. thanks
Sounds like factory Maverick wheels. Are you wanting to sell them? If so, I may be interested depending on price and condition. Thanks for posting.
I am also interested if Ray doesn't take them - especially if they are 4-lug (I assume you don't want 4-lug, Ray).
These wheels do have a black stripe and they are 5 hole. They are Not show quality but plenty good for a driver or local show car. I think they could definetly be restored. No major damage just scratches and nicks like from curb or tire tools. But nothing major and only on the outer part of rim. I really dont know what they are worth and I know that you need a picture. I will work on that it I cant post on to the board I will e mail you all one thanks.
I think it's great that someone would post just to try and keep those cool looking rims on a Maverick. Awesome!
I just missed a really nice set. One of the guys on the board sold a very nice set with white letter tires for $350. I'm still kicking my butt for not buying those. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=59623&highlight=slots
