    wheels to Mexico...

    Hello,
somebody know where I can find "Cragar" or "American Racing" wheels near to Mc Allen or Laredo, Tx??, I have been looking for them in internet, but I'm not sure if the shipping will be sure, and the extra fees or taxes when the wheels are export to Mexico, that is the reason for which I wanted to go to buy them near the South border of Texas,

I found a site where has the wheels than I want this is the direction http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/aluminum_wheels.asp

more specific, these are the wheels than I was looking

    http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/listproducts.asp?cat=1013

    but now come the questions:

    0. If you know where I can find this kind of wheels near to McAllen Or Laredo Tx, please say me, I do not trust in the shipping by the distance.

    1. they will fit at maverick, i was thinking in 15x7 (5x4 1/2 inch bolt circle) and back spacing, I dont have idea??

    2. What importance have the width of the wheels (6",7" or 8") if I want that tires will be 235/50-R15 size?? considering that the OEM tires are 185/70-R14

    3. Somebody have reference about this internet site or another where they sell wheels and send them at other country like mexico??? the price of the wheels in this Internet site is in the range?? or is more expensive??

    4. The bolt pattern in the mav is 5x4 1/2 inch bolt circle??

I know some questions are little silly but is better be sure, like say in mexico, "more sure more tightened" (mas seguro mas amarrado)

I hope than you have a few free minutes to say me your comments. I will appreciate your effort, thank you.

Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
your best place is to order rims is though big mail order houses like summit racing. try www.summitracing.com

your back spacing can be any where from 3-1/2 to 4 inches. i wound not go any bigger then that if you want to be safe.

as far as the width of wheels. the wider the better. there is a limit however anything wider then stock can be better for handling.

The Maverick bolt pattern in the mav is 5x4-1/2

also check this link out as well

    hope that helps

    good luck (y)
