Wheel size/backspace on 4 lug Mav

    I have a 70 with 4 lug wheels.. Am going to get a set of welds for it and was wondering what size and backspacing fits best on the rear??
    Anyone know??

    I'm sure someone must know something:huh:...I'm not to sure myself though. About 15 years ago, when I still had 4 bolt wheels, I bought a set of American Racing "Black Nuggets"...they were 7" wide, 14" rims with a 4" backspace. I had a set of Dunlop 225/60/14 on the back and 195/70/14 on the front...seem to look pretty good and fit well....but I am only going by memory here. I may have some pics somewhere around if you need them....
