I HAVE A MILD 302, C-4, AND NINE INCH REAR THAT I AM SWAPPING INTO MY MAVERICK. i WAS WONDERING WHAT THE BESTWAY TO GET RID OF THE WHEEL HOP AND TO GAIN TRACTION WAS. wILL SIMPLE TRACTION BARS DO IT OR SHOULD I GO WITH SOMETHING ELSE. IT WILL MORE LIKLY BE A WEEKEND HOT RODDER ON MAIN STREET. i MAY GO ALL TRACK LATER ON.
Check this link out. Several of us have these. Easy to install and work very well. Dan http://www.calvertracing.com/
Cal Trac's are definately the way to go, but just in the interest of monetary issues, traction bars work well for a minimum investment. They must be installed correctly with attn. to snubber position on spring etc. Hope you have a trac-lok or similiar rear assy. for maximum traction, be it light to light or strip use.
