Ive been doin alot of research lately on them and im tryin to decide what to use on my maverick. So far ive just gotten as far as choosing

    http://www.cliffordperformance.net/...de=CP&Product_Code=53-0186&Category_Code=F200

that for the header unless someone else has a better one in mind for around the same price. As far as the exhaust system though im really not sure what to get. I want a deep sounding sound so i was thinking like 2.5 inches or something around there. But not sure if i should use mufflers or straight pipes or what. Any tips would help thanks guys:burnout:

If you are on the street with it you have to run a muffler (unless local laws allow strait pipes) but for the most power straight pipes will generally allow slightly more power.
NOTE: with proper tuning a muffler can increase power over straight pipes - but it does take some tuning. (or luck)

ive run about every major brand on alot of cars over the years. you'll just have to look around at the different brands and the different sounds they produce to decide what you like the best :yup:

    No muffler

when my car was pure stock i ran it open manifolds and i loved every moment of it, but i live in a small town near a decent size city,so little to no cops, (also you have to take in account your carbon footprint);)

I say live it up we're all DOOMED anyway:dancing::dance::dance::dance::dance::dancing:

but your car might need the back pressure from the exhaust so take that into account
