Made the swap to 4.11 gears and I just broke my speedometer cable so figured now would be a good time to get the correct speedometers gear to match the 4.11. I have a stock 72 c4.thanks guys

You may need a gear reducer to get it right with a 4.11. The biggest tooth count speedo cable gear (driven gear) is 23. And these generally don't last long in service.

Now that I don't know. There used to be a parts house hear here that could make up any reducer you needed, but that was thirty years ago. Do a web search for "Speedometer gear reducer" and see what comes up.

I have the white one from TCI but they dont last long. I got 2 summers out of mine and its chewed up to the point of replacement. I think they rate them around 12000miles. Mine went more like 3000. Had some decent size slivers of plastic in my trans screen. To big to get through it though so it didnt bother me much. My speedo with the 4.11's and 255/60/15 rears is out by about 5mph at 60. So I read about 8% under my actual speed. No big deal.
