    I Guess you can call me lazy I really dont want to take my dash apart to find out if someone can tell me I would really appreciate it. Its what the black arrow is pointing at..

    1972 Maverick 2 door.Original V-8 3 spd std shift.Also a 72 one owner Sprint sporting a 351 Windsor
    That is the "H" valve for the AC (its where the freon is transformed from a liquid to a gas through a small orifice)

    Ok Thank you seems Im just going to open the dash anyway to pull it out and the heater core not using either. I know I have the ac pump on the motor ut as soon as I can get the correct rotation pump and pulleys pulling that off also.
