What Axle/Spring U-Bolt to use with my 9 inch?

    I have a non-tapered 9 inch axle shaft. It looks like any u-bolt with a inside dimension of 3 inches, 1/2 inch dia and 7 inches long should work. Is this about right?

    sounds good, the 3" dia is what i used on my versailles 9".

    you are on the right track. you should be able to slot or over size the holes in the stock spring plate to accommodate the bigger u bolts.
