I finsished the rebuild. I mostly filled the torque converter with fluid before the install, I put new rear and front seals. There are drips coming out the bottom of the inspections plate.
    This is my plan:

1-jack car up to check on all possible leaks after the rebuild
2-drain a few quarts of ATF fluid.
    3-Start the car
4-open the inspection plate on the bell housing
5-rotate torque converter and check the fill bolt on the torque converter is tight.
6-clean up the inside of the bell housing as best I can
7-refill ATF fluid to the proper level

You think that will do it? Do you think the problem is something else, like needs a new front seal?

    Thanks

    Try this...
7-jack car up to check on all possible leaks after the rebuild
1-drain a few quarts of ATF fluid.
    5-Start the car
2-open the inspection plate on the bell housing
4-rotate torque converter and check the fill bolt on the torque converter is tight.
3-clean up the inside of the bell housing as best I can
6-refill ATF fluid to the proper level
Not trying to be smart, just trying to be effecient.
I have seen where too much fluid will push out seals or bypass seals too.
    Good luck...:)

I'm not real up on trannys. But, i would start it up and then check the fluid again and clean the area up. If it still leaks out of the front then I'd replace the front seal again. Might have spilled some ATF when trying to get the convertor in place.:)

...i would remove the...trans. to rad. line...
    put a hose over it...
put the other end in a clean container...
start the car and pump some ATF into the container...
    replace the line...
start the car and check the level...
drain/fill untill reaching the correct level...

When you replaced the seals did you lubricate them before you installed them? I have seen many converter seals leak after just 5 minutes when they were installed dry. I always coat the lip and groove of the seals with Vaseline and coat the outer diameter with sealant before I install them.
