What are "public groups"?

    When I check out my CP, I notice that I am "not a member of any public groups". What is a "public group" and how do I become a member of one, or do I want to be one?

    If I were to set up groups, like a regional one, then you would have the option to join the regional group you lived in. I have not set up any public groups, so there are none to join.
