Yes, yes, lots of "leaky places" posts from me recently, and my thanks go out for everyone's patience and advice!!! This one is a little strange. It's been raining here in Dallas lately and although my trunk was (mostly) dry, the underside of my trunk lid was actually very wet, like it was covered with heavy condensation. Any thoughts on this one...???
Condensation. Doesn't take much moisture in the trunk, pull out the bottom cushion of your back seat, and see if it's wet under there.
Maybe the temp inside of the car was warmer than the outside air? Water leaking inside in other places was evaporating and condensing on the cooler trunk lid?
Maybe...I suppose...but the car had been sitting outside several days so I'd think the temp throughout was pretty much equalized. Will do - off to find a tech article on pulling seats!
